National Communications
Indonesia
The first National Communication was mostly devoted to develop a greenhouse gas inventory, as well as options to reduce emissions. Works on vulnerability assessments and adaptation got less attention. However, the second National Communication is under way and TroFCCA is expecting to contribute to this effort by providing an assessment of vulnerability relating to impacts of climate change over forest ecosystems.
The Indonesian’s First National Communication was produced in 1998 and submitted to UNFCCC in October 1999. It can be found through this link. The second national communication is due this year (2006).

Philippines
This first National Communication contains a national inventory of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases, a description of steps taken or envisaged by the country to implement its commitment. To prepare the country for the onset of climate change, the Philippines started to prepare a National Action Plan (NAP) on Climate Change in 1997. Earlier vulnerability studies were consolidated under the NAP process, which include several sectors: agriculture, water resources, coastal resources, forestry, and health.
The Philippines’ First National Communication was produced in 1999 and submitted to UNFCCC in May 2000. It can be found through this link.
