Adaptation to Climate Change-The Role of Ecosystem Services Course

Turrialba, Costa Rica. 9-13 November 2009

TroFCCA and MIA projects will hold an Adaptation to climate change-the role of ecosystem services course. The target audiences are including researchers and also people working outside academic institutions that are willing to acquire knowledge useful for implementing practical management of ecosystem services for adaptation to climate change. The course will be held at CATIE, Turrialba, Costa Rica on 9-13 November 2009.

Abstract submissions may be sent by e-mail before 31 July 2009.

International Workshop on "Adaptation to climate change: the role of ecosystem services"

CATIE-Turrialba-Costa Rica, 3-5 November 2008

The workshop are organized for having a view of the state the art in the different aspects involved in the design of adaptation strategies to climate change; sharing experiences from the Latin American region; and building up the basis for a research network on the role of ecosystem services for adaptation to climate change.

Workshop on Validation of Policies for Adaptation to Climate Change in the Hydraulic Resources Sector of Costa Rica

The Ministry of the Environment and Energy (MINAE) of Costa Rica will organize this Adaptation Policy Analysis at Hotel Corobici, San José -Costa Rica on July 13, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
