TroFCCA in West Africa will In Ghana (8 00N, 2 00W); the land locked countries of Burkina Faso (13 00N, 2 00W) and Mali (17 00N, 4 00W). This area will permit a consideration and inventory of a range of biophysical, socio-economic and political-economy aspects of forest and climate change impact on forest in West Africa, along a precipitation gradient from the lower Sahara desert, to the sea coastal zone of Ghana.
