International Workshop on Evaluating Climate Change and Development
The workshop will address both mitigation of and adaptation to climate change. Within international assistance, most climate change interventions have aimed to ensure sustainable development through efforts to control greenhouse gas emissions. The 28th sessions of the Subsidiary Bodies of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany from 2-13 June 2008.

28th Session of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies
The 28th sessions of the Subsidiary Bodies of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) – are scheduled to take place from 2-13 June 2008, in Bonn, Germany. In addition, the second meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action, a new body established at COP 13 in Bali, is expected to be held alongside the SBI and SBSTA. The resumed fifth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol will also be held at the same time.
