+ Glossary and Forestry Terms A searchable and browsable database of forestry terms produced by the Ministry of Forests, which is a department of the Government of British Columbia in Canada. The glossary is a compilation of general terms used in British Columbia and does not cover all forestry terms used in other countries. A bibliography is available online of the sources consulted in the creation of the glossary. The complete file may be downloaded as text, and some of the definitions contain hypertext links both to other definitions and to external related sources. It is also possible to browse a listing of forestry acronyms. New term suggestions are solicited. There is also 'Definitions for forestry acronyms and initialisms'.
