12. REDD and Combating Illegal Logging
The 8th Meeting of the Asia Forest Partnership and AFP Dialogue in Bali, Indonesia, 27-29 May 2009. The AFP Dialogue will explore the links between new proposals to combat climate change by reducing carbon emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, and efforts to combat illegal logging and the associated timber trade. Hosted by the Indonesian government and CIFOR, supported by the governments of Japan and Switzerland, GTZ, USAID RAFT-TNC Program, WRI, IGES and DFID.  more
