Three forest and forestry field trips in Denmark on Monday, 14 December 2009

The Danish Ministry of the Environment, Forest and Nature Agency has organised field trips the Monday after Forest Day 3, on 14 December 2009. Participants can choose to visit one of three locations near Copenhagen that highlight different challenges and opportunities for sustainable forest management in the context of climate change mitigation and adaptation. All field trips will end with a reception at the historic castle of Kronborg in Elsinore.

The field trips are open to all Forest Day 3 participants. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore we strongly encourage you to register early.
